Senator Tanko Almakura who is representing Nasarawa South Senatorial District at the National Assembly, has revalidated his membership of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The Senator revalidated his membership of the party at his Polling Unit in Gayam Ward, Lafia.
Speaking after the exercise, Sen. Al-Makura told party supporters that the exercise was designed to further strengthen the APC towards making it Africa’s largest political party
He said the revalidation exercise and registration of new members was to ensure that the party had an effective register that would boost the party’s status globally.
According to Senator Almakura, APC had continued to grow from strength to strength over the years and considering the enthusiasm exhibited by the people since commencement of the exercise, the party was on the path of becoming the biggest in Africa.
While calling on people of his zone to conduct themselves peacefully throughout the exercise, Senator Almakura commended the APC leadership for coming up with a well articulated revalidation and registration process for the party.
Sen. Al-makura further said the revalidation confirmed his status as the Senator representing Nasarawa South under the APC platform.
