Sen Daduut lauds First Lady Oluremi Tinubu for championing Women empowerment in Nigeria

Senator Nora Ladi Daduut has commended the first lady of the Nation ,Her Excellency Distinguished Senator Oluremi Tinubu for championing women and girl child empowerment in the country .

Our correspondent reports that the first lady launched the ‘We Are Equal Campaign’ to advocate gender equity through inclusive education in Nigeria on Monday .

Since assumption of office ,the first lady has also put into motion her pledge to support the cause of Nigerian women through the launch of the “No Woman No Nation”, renewed hope, a women empowerment initiative which so far has empowered several women in the country.

Daduut the first female Senator from Plateau state in a statement made available to newsmen commended Senator Oluremi
Tinubu for the empowerment of women farmers in the North Central zone which was flagged off in Jos recently .

She said ” Our First lady Distinguished Senator Oluremi Tinubu has proven within a very short time that she is committed to advancing gender equality, and empowering women across states .”

In her words ” Our First Lady has spearheaded several programmes aimed at improving the educational and economic status of women and girls in the Nation .

“Empowering women and girls in education and skill acquisition is crucial to achieving sustainable development in our communities, and we must support and encourage leaders like our First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu who is committed to this cause,” she said.

” The zeal of our first lady to uplift women out of poverty can not be underestimated, the launch of her initiatives underscores the importance of empowering our womenfolk as an integral part of this administration’s economic policies.”

She added that “Senator Oluremi Tinubu’s legacy shall continue to inspire new generations of leaders who are committed to creating a better future for all Nigerians.

“ I commend Remi Tinubu for her commitment to lift our women out of poverty and enhance their participation in the economy”.

“Senator Tinubu’s unwavering dedication to public service and her tireless advocacy for the betterment of Nigerian society stands out tall .

Daduut hailed her as “a woman of virtue” and commended her longstanding commitment to national development and for being a political pillar to the President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

She called on Nigerians to support the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu led administration as it is determined to better the lives of citizens .
