In a formal announcement made in Abuja, Tournament Coordinator John Bassey Ekpenyong highlighted the strategic choice of ambassadors, noting their roots in grassroots football as a key factor. Notably, during Senator Godswill Akpabio’s tenure as the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, over 200 talents were identified, developed, and promoted to leagues around the world.
