Senator Lalong Distributes Christmas Items to Plateau South Constituents

Senator Simon Bako Lalong of Plateau South Senatorial District has commenced distributing Christmas and New Year items to his constituents. The initiative, aimed at easing celebrations for residents, began on Christmas Eve at his country home in Ajikamai, Shendam.

Thousands of bags of rice were shared across all wards in the six local government areas of the district—Mikang, Quan’Pan, Shendam, Wase, Langtang South, and Langtang North. Distribution at the polling unit level will ensure the items reach beneficiaries directly.

The first phase was overseen by Hon. Edward Velwan Waziri, Zonal Liaison Coordinator, and Hon. John Naandoet, Senior Legislative Aide, alongside Local Government Liaison Officers.

Senator Lalong emphasized that this gesture reflects his ongoing commitment to the well-being of his constituents. He also plans to engage stakeholders, carry out constituency interventions, and attend events during the yuletide season.

The Senator extends his warm wishes for a joyous Christmas and a prosperous New Year to the people of Plateau South and the entire state.
