Senator Wamakko Optimistic Of A Brighter Sokoto State

Sen. Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, Sarkin Yamman Sokoto, has expressed optimism that Sokoto State under the stewardship of Gov. Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto will soon blossom to a developed State.

Bashar Abibakar said the Senator was speaking in Sokoto shortly after returning from Abuja on some official engagements.

Sen. Wamakko described the recent development in Sokoto city regarding the provision of water supply, environmental sanitation and payment of allowances to the physically challenged as highly commendable.

Sen. Wamakko also extolled the payment of monthly stipends to the Chief Imams of Jumu’at Mosques, their deputies and Azhans in the state by the administration of Alhaji Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto.

Sen. Wamakko noted that these all-important achievements were recorded by the APC government in the State within a shortest time frame.

Wamakko further added that the State would surely be among the advanced states in the country if these laudable people-oriented programmes are sustained.

He solicited for more fervent prayers and understanding from the people of the state for its overall development.

He, therefore, thanked all APC’s supporters for their doggedness towards ensuring good governance in the State.

He expressed optimism that more dividend of democracy will come to the state in a very short time.

A special prayer was offered by Mallam Bashir Gidan Kanawa for Allah’s continued guidance for Sen. Wamakko and Sokoto State in general.
