Shettima decorates new Customs CG with honors.

During a ceremony at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, Vice President Kashim Shettima congratulated the new Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Mr Adewale Adeniyi. The Vice President commended Adeniyi for his efforts in restoring professionalism within the Customs Service, which has created an environment where every Customs officer can strive to reach the highest level of their profession.

In his congratulatory message, Vice President Shettima expressed well wishes on behalf of President Bola Tinubu, who appointed Adeniyi to the position. The Vice President acknowledged the significance of Adeniyi’s appointment as a morale booster for officers in the service. By bringing professionalism back to the Nigerian Customs Service, Adeniyi’s leadership sets a positive example and opens up new opportunities for advancement and growth within the organization.

The presence of other dignitaries, including the Chief of Staff to the President, Mr Femi Gbajabiamila, signifies the importance attached to this ceremony and the recognition of the efforts made by Adeniyi in his role as the new Customs CG. The event serves as a platform to encourage continued dedication to professionalism and excellence within the Nigerian Customs Service.
