Show Promoters Cancel Naira Marley from Events Amid Mohbad Controversy – Samklef Reports

By Daniel Edu

Samklef, a Nigerian music producer and singer, has claimed that show promoters have made the decision to exclude the controversial artist, Naira Marley, from upcoming events due to his alleged involvement in the death of his former signee, Mohbad.

Accusations have been circulating in Nigeria, suggesting that Naira Marley and his associate, Sam Larry, played a role in the tragic death of Mohbad. Videos have surfaced online showing the deceased being bullied and harassed before his untimely demise.

In a video shared on the internet, Samklef expressed his belief that justice is starting to prevail in the case of Mohbad’s death, as Naira Marley is now being cancelled from all scheduled shows.

Furthermore, Samklef revealed that show promoters have also committed to reaching out to politicians to discourage them from offering any job opportunities to the ‘Yahoo Boy’ singer. He mentioned that petitions would be drafted to embassies, emphasizing that the online videos strongly imply Naira Marley’s alleged involvement in the deceased’s death.

Mohbad’s Management Seeks Justice
Meanwhile, the management team of Mohbad has called for justice in light of the sudden and tragic loss of the artist. They confirmed the artist’s death in a recent statement on his Instagram and X social media accounts.

The management expressed their willingness to cooperate with authorities investigating the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death. They revealed that the singer had been in court to retrieve most of his songs and unpaid royalties, which Marlian Music had allegedly held without justification.

In addition, Mohbad’s management conveyed their appreciation for the overwhelming support and love received from the general public following the unfortunate incident.
