By Muhammad Ibrahim, Sokoto

The Sokoto State Agency for the Control of AIDS and Tuberculosis (SOSACAT) has sought partnership and support from Alu TV to ensure the success of the 2024 World AIDS Day. The theme for this year’s event is *”Take the Right Path: Sustain HIV Response, Stop HIV Among Children.”*

Wadata Hali, the state coordinator for SOSACAT, made the request during a visit to the station ahead of the event. He emphasized the importance of collaboration in the fight against HIV/AIDS and the need to raise awareness, particularly regarding HIV among children.

In response, Alu TV’s General Manager, Bashar Abubakar, assured the agency of the station’s full support. “Alu Television was created to collaborate with stakeholders to move the state forward and assist in eradicating killer diseases,” he said, reiterating the station’s commitment to the cause.
