Speaker Abbas hails Buhari at 81

The Speaker of the House of Representatives Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, Ph.d, has hailed former President Muhammadu Buhari as he clocks 81 on Sunday.

Speaker Abbas, in his congratulatory message to the former president, described Buhari as an elder statesman and a disciplined personality.

The Speaker said Buhari’s invaluable contributions to the growth and development of Nigeria were laudable.

“I congratulate former president, Muhammadu Buhari, as he clocks 81. He has paid his dues both as a military officer and as a civilian.

“It is my prayer that Allah grants him more years on earth, and in good health.”

Speaker Abbas greets Wike at 56

The Speaker of the House of Representatives Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, Ph.D has rejoiced with the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Barrister Nyesom Wike, on his 56th birthday.

Speaker Abbas said Wike, the immediate past governor of Rivers State, is a patriotic Nigerian, who has demonstrated that he is a democrat to the core.

In a congratulatory message by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Musa Abdullahi Krishi, the Speaker said Wike’s public service over the years speaks for itself.

He expressed delight at how Wike has proven to be a pro-masses politician with his infrastructural development in Rivers State when he served as governor for eight years.

The Speaker noted that going by Wike’s performance so far as the FCT Minister, he is already proving that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has made the right choice.

Speaker Abbas wished the FCT minister increased wisdom and more fruitful years in sound health.
