Speaker Falgore Extends Ramadan Greetings to Muslim Faithful

By Jabiru Hassan

The Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Jibril Ismail Falgore, has extended his greetings to Muslims on the commencement of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting.

This message was contained in a statement issued by his spokesperson, Kamaluddeen Sani Shawai, on Saturday. Falgore stated that Ramadan reflects the “shared good qualities that we have: compassion, sharing, and supporting one another. These are what we need now more than ever.”

Falgore further emphasized the importance of making sacrifices for the poor and showing greater commitment to the plight of the needy. He urged Muslims to uphold these values.

“Ramadan presents an opportunity to pray more for Kano State and the country as a whole,” he said, praying to Allah to accept the prayers and fasting of the faithful during this sacred month
