Stop False Rumours that I was Imposed as PDP Guber Candidate in Taraba – Col. Kefas

The governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Taraba state, Col. Agbu Kefas (Rt) on Wednesday has frowned at Tarabans who are spreading​ false rumours that he was imposed on the people of the state as gubernatorial candidate for PDP to desist from misleading the public.

Kefas, who​ was speaking to journalists in Jalingo said, he would unite all aggrieved members of the party and bring everyone together ahead of next year’s general elections to enable the party retain power in the state.

“Our elders​ who sees things beyond the way we see it said the power should still remain in the south and their quest is to see that the state remain in the hand of the right person” he said.

The governorship candidate who said his government would be selfless in its dealings emphasised that 2023​ is all about the people of Taraba state.

He stressed that his aspiration to become governor of the state in 2023 is not for personal aggrandisement.

According to Fefas, he will apply the formular he used in 2009 that brought permanent peace to Niger Delta region solve insecurity in Taraba if elected governor come 2023.

The security expert who​ mediated between the Niger Delta militia group and the federal government that​ bring lasting solution to the region, said he will bring his intelligence experience to ensure that all the security issues confronting the state is curtailed.

The RT. Military officer noted that security is a collective responsibility, saying he would employ the services of all the communities and leaders to tackle it.
