Taraba Commissioner Condemns bomb attack in Jalingo

The Taraba state commissioner Ministry of Budget and Planning, Mr. Solomon Elisha has condemned in strong terms the bomb attack in Nukkai Jalingo local government area of Taraba state that occurred at the let hours of Friday.

The commissioner who was speaking with Daybreak news at the scene of the incident in Nukkai, described the attack as an act of wickedness and unprovoked aggression against innocent citizens.

Mr. Solomon Elisha appealed to Taraban to cultivate the habit of living in peace with one another to complement the peace matra of Governor Darius Ishaku of “give me peace and I will give you development” in the interest of development.

The commissioner expressed sympathy with the families of those that sustain injuries and are receiving treatment in hospitals.

He charge youths to be vigilant and promptly report strange visitors to security agencies and traditional authorities in their communities.
