The Smart Money Woman Season 2: Premieres October 10, 2024

The popular financial literacy comedy-drama series, *The Smart Money Woman*, is set to return for its highly anticipated second season on October 10, 2024. This follows its successful debut on Netflix in September 2021.

Originally airing as a 13-episode series on Africa Magic, *The Smart Money Woman* was later released on Netflix as a single season with 7 episodes. The official teaser trailer for Season 2 was unveiled on September 16, 2024, by Azuwa Studios. The announcement highlighted, “THE SMART MONEY WOMAN SEASON TWO IS ALMOST HERE! #TSMWSeries2, trailer out now. Official Release Date October 10, 2024.”

The series, created by bestselling author and executive producer Arese Ugwu, explores financial literacy through the lives of a group of stylish and ambitious friends in Lagos, Nigeria. Directed by Wande Thomas and Bunmi Ajakaiye, the new season features Nollywood stars including Osas Ighodaro, Toni Tones, Ini Dima-Okojie, and many more.

Produced by Arese Ugwu for Azuwa Studios, alongside Isoken Ogiemwonyi of Studio Ogiso Inc., Akin ‘Marine’ Marinho of Utopia Media, and Lala Akindoju of The Make It Happen Productions, Season 2 promises to deliver fresh and engaging content that continues to drive important conversations about financial literacy.
