Tramadol overdose: Three students dead

Three students of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) were discovered dead in an inn after purportedly taking a blend of tramadol, codeine and vodka.

One other understudy was as yet oblivious as at the season of filling this report.

The bodies were found at the Sunshine Castle Hostel, Umuchima ihiagwa, one of the state light networks near the University.

Two of them, as indicated by an onlooker account, kicked the bucket in a split second while the main woman among them and another male understudy were discovered oblivious.

They were quickly hurried to the Federal Medical Center Owerri where they were conceded at the Intensive Care Unit.

The male understudy later kicked the bucket at the emergency clinic, after endeavors to resuscitate him by a group of medicinal staff fizzled.

At as the season of filling this report, understudies have emptied the inn while the overseer has been captured by the Police.

Anyway when reached, the Public Relations Officer of the University, Mrs. Uche Nwaelue, said that the organization can’t yet affirm if the exploited people were its students.

Affirming the occurrence, the Imo State Police Public Relations Officer, Orlando Ikeokwu, a Superintendent of Police, affirmed two of the understudies kicked the bucket in the emergency clinic after they were discovered oblivious.

As per him: “The overseer announced the issue and our men visited the scene and found them four obvious bare and oblivious.

“They were hurried to the medical clinic where two of them surrendered the apparition. Substances suspected to be tramadol and Indian hemp were found with them”.
