Tribunal Rejects LP/PDP Petitions Regarding Alleged Tinubu Drug Case

The tribunal has dismissed the petitions filed by the Labour Party (LP) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) concerning the alleged drug-related case involving Bola Tinubu. The decision was made after it was revealed that the Nigeria Police, represented by its Inspector General of Police (IGP), had previously sought confirmation from the United States regarding Bola Tinubu’s criminal status. In 2003, the US government responded, stating that Bola Tinubu had no criminal records in the United States. Consequently, the court has admitted this evidence.
