Elder Jatau Danladi Bako Laid to Rest Amidst Tributes, Reflections On Life’s Seasons in kaduna

By Achadu Gabriel, Kaduna

The serene town of Samban Gida in Jaba Local Government Area of Kaduna State was enveloped in solemnity as family, friends, and well-wishers gathered to bid farewell to Elder Jatau Danladi Bako. His life and legacy were honored during a deeply reflective burial ceremony.

The burial event of father of Captain Caleb Danladi Bako, CEO and founder of a Frontline and leading Caleb Danladi Foundation (CDF), marked by heartfelt tributes, was officiated by Pastor Stephen Forest, who drew inspiration from Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 to emphasize the divine timing of life’s journey.

Speaking during the service, Pastor Forest reminded the congregation of the scripture’s profound message: “To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted.”

He urged mourners to find solace in the knowledge that Elder Bako had lived through the appointed seasons of life, leaving behind a legacy of faith, service, and love.

In a condolence message, the Chairman of Jaba Local Government Area, Larai Sylvia Ishaku, commiserated with the Jatau family over their loss.

She described Elder Bako as a positive influence who embodied the values of family, community, and faith, touching the lives of countless individuals regardless of class, religion, or ethnicity.

In his remarks, the eldest son of the deceased, Captain Caleb Danladi Bako, expressed gratitude to everyone who came to honor their late father.

He acknowledged that while his father’s passing had created a vacuum, the family found solace in knowing that he was resting with the Lord due to the pious life he lived.

Captain Bako pledged to uphold his father’s legacy and revealed that the establishment of the Caleb Danladi Foundation was inspired by his father’s values and vision.

Salama News reports that Elder Jatau Danladi Bako was widely revered for his wisdom, generosity, and unwavering commitment to peace and unity.

Many who paid tribute described him as a father figure who played a significant role in shaping the moral and spiritual lives of those around him.
