Two Notorious Kidnappers nabbed by Security Operatives in Benue State

At least two suspected members of notorious five-man kidnapping and armed robbery gang who have been terrorising the people of Otukpo Local Government Area have been nabbed by the local vigilante group. 


The Divisional Police Officer, DPO, Mr. Yahaya Bawa who confirmed the arrest while parading the suspects noted that the criminals confessed to some robberies and kidnappings in the area.


Day Break checks revealed that the  suspects, Abubakar Usman 23 and Usman Sani who aged 25 were apprehend at different locations in the area.


Reacting to the incident, Chairman of Otukpo Local Government Council, Mr George Ali lauded security agents for tracking the aforementioned criminals whom he said have been giving residents of the area sleepless nights.


He assured residents that government is stepping up efforts towards reducing criminal activities in the area for faster development.
Ali called on the people of the area to give information to security operatives to enable them stamp out criminals in Otukpo Local Government and its environs. Ends
