Uncovering the Truth: NNPP’s Mismanagement of Palliative Rice in Kano State.

By: Dr. Sagir Sadisu Buhari FCIA .

The recent statement by Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, leader of the NNPP, accusing the Federal Government under President Bola Ahmad Tinubu and APC stakeholders of sharing palliative rice for the North West Zone in Kano State, is a clear case of pretense.

This desperate attempt to deflect attention from his own government’s failures in Kano State will not go unchallenged.

High-ranking NNPP officials have been implicated in the mismanagement of palliative rice, with widespread reports of diversion and hoarding for personal gain.

Despite these allegations, Senator Kwankwaso has the audacity to point fingers at others, rather than taking responsibility for his own government’s actions.

The Federal Government has provided billions of naira worth of palliatives to Kano State, but these resources have been mismanaged by NNPP government officials.

This is a betrayal of the trust placed in them by the people of Kano State, who deserve better.

As local government elections approach, the people of Kano State must remember that they have the power to choose their leaders.

They must choose leaders who are committed to serving their interests, who are accountable, and who will ensure that resources meant for them are used judiciously.

The time for change has come. The people of Kano State must reject the NNPP government and choose a better alternative.

They deserve leaders who will deliver good governance and truly serve their interests.

Accountability is key to good governance. The people of Kano State must demand accountability from their leaders.

They must ask questions and seek answers. They must hold their leaders responsible for their actions.

Senator Kwankwaso’s pretense must be exposed. The people of Kano State must see through his desperate attempt to deflect attention from his own government’s failures.

They must demand accountability and choose leaders who will truly serve their interests. Furthermore, the people of Kano State will never forget the devastating destruction of their shops and properties at Filin Idi Market and other locations across the state.

This led to the loss of billions of Naira worth of goods and properties, as well as the tragic loss of lives.

In contrast, we must appreciate President Bola Ahmad Tinubu for finding the Deputy Senate President, Distinguished Senator Barau Jibril, trustworthy to serve as the Chairman of the Distribution of Federal Government Palliative Rice for the North West Zone, which was launched in Kano State.

This is a testament to the President’s commitment to good governance and accountability. On behalf of the good people of Kano State, we thank you, President Bola Ahmad Tinubu GCON, for your efforts to bring relief to our people. God bless Nigeria.
