Veteran actor, Emmmanuel France reportedly passes away

Veteran Nollywood actor, Emmanuel France, has reportedly passed away, marking another tragic loss for the Nigerian film industry this year.

The news of his death was shared by filmmaker Olufemi Ogedengbe on Instagram, where he paid tribute to the late actor. Ogedengbe described France as both a legend and an uncle, recalling their time working together on three film projects in Tanzania in 2006: *Cross My Sin*, *She Is My Sister*, and *The Director*. The cause of France’s death has not yet been disclosed.

Ogedengbe wrote, “Rest in peace to one of Nollywood’s legends, Uncle Emmanuel France. One of the actors I took to Tanzania in 2006. Shot three movies with him. R.I.P.”

Fans and followers expressed their condolences and shared their memories of the veteran actor in the comment section, mourning his passing.
