Victims of Bandit Attack In Illela Receive Donations Of Food Items From Senator Wamakko

Member of the Muslim World League, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko has donated Food items to the Victims of the attack in Illela local government area of sokoto state who were displayed by the bandits attack in their Communities.

Items distributed included tones of Rice, Maize and Garri to all the communities of the eleven wards of the area mostly affected by the attack.

Presenting the relief materials, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko who was represented by his Director of Administration Alh. Almustapha Abubakar Alkali said, Senator Wamakko was deeply touched by the rising of banditry attacks in some areas of the state.

Senator Wamakko while sympathising with the people of Illela local government over the unfortunate incident, prayed Allah to prevent the reoccurrence of such ungodly act.

He said the succour brought to them was just to put some smiles in the faces of the victims, calling on the other well to do individuals in the Society to come to the aide of these victims so as to provides them with more shelters and cares to ease their sufferings.

Senator Wamakko added that similar gesture will soon be extended to other Communities in the state who are facing same challenges.

Receiving the items on behalf of the APC Chairman in the area, the Zonal Vice Chairman of the party in charged of Sokoto East, Alhaji Usman Giwa Illela, thanked senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko for the assistance and pledged to do justice during the distribution of the foodstuffs.

He explained that, Senator Wamakko is an exemplary leader which has the needy at his heart all the times.

Each of the one hundred and five victims selected from Masasa, Gidan Katta, kalmalo, Gaidau, Tafki and Damba villages of the area among others were given one bag each of Rice, Maize and Garri to causion the effect of hardship being faced.

Some beneficiaries thanked the senator for the gesture and prayed Allah to reward him abundantly.
