One of the bigwigs of the ruling people’s Democratic party, PDP in Sokoto state, Hon. Ibrahim Gidado known as P.A has joined the All Progressives Congress APC.
The decampee was a Former member Sokoto state House of Assembly who represented sokoto south one Constituency also currently serving as Special Adviser to the Sokoto state Governor, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal.
Hon. Ibrahim P.A said he and his supporters have decided to leave the PDP for lack of focus and trust from the leaders.
He also said he joined the APC to team up with leaders so as to rescue Sokoto state from the failed administration of Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal as many promises made were not fulfilled.
The Defector was received happily by the APC leader in the state senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko and APC chairman Hon. Isah Sadiq Achida along side APC Youth leader in the state Alh. Nasir Italy.
Senator Wamakko expressed happiness for receiving the new intake into the party and assured him of equal treatment.
The decampee Ibrahim PA was accompanied by the Former Commissioner for lands and Housing in the state Barrister Nasir Ibrahim Dantsoho.
