Victor Osimhen Aims for Comeback in Time for Napoli’s Showdown Against Real Madrid

By Daniel Edu

Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen is optimistic about returning to action for Napoli’s UEFA Champions League match against Real Madrid on November 29 at the Bernabeu. Osimhen, who has been sidelined since October 13 due to an injury sustained in a friendly match with Saudi Arabia, is working diligently on his recovery. The 24-year-old, absent from Nigeria’s recent World Cup qualifiers, aims to be match-fit for Napoli’s clash with Atalanta on November 25 before the crucial Champions League encounter. Osimhen, who has scored six goals in 10 games this season, is keen to contribute to Napoli’s campaign and was present in the stands for their recent 1-1 draw with Union Berlin.
