Biokpomabo Awara, governorship hopeful of the African Action Congress (AAC) in Rivers State, has responded to Governor Nyesom Wike’s triumph in the March 9 governorship race.

Awara, while talking with newsmen in the state, said the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) schemed with Wike to fix him out of winning the race.

He focused on that his gathering will recover the “stolen command”, alluding to his misfortune in the race.

He asserted gross anomalies in the continued assemblage of the state governorship decision result that saw Nyesom Wike of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) re-chose as Governor of the state.

Wike won the decision in the wake of surveying 886,264 votes to beat Awara, who surveyed 173,859 votes. The edge was 712,405 votes.

Awara stated: “Nenye Kocha isn’t the examination specialist of AAC in INEC office, Port Harcourt. Dr. Chuku is the properly designated examination specialist of AAC, yet he was counteracted by security work force at the door of INEC’s office in Port Harcourt from moving to the assemblage focus.

“I have the unit by unit aftereffects of the March 9, 2019 races in Rivers State. When they saw that I was driving and they saw the peril coming, they immediately proceeded onward March 10 to spare Wike, by suspending the examination of the outcomes, which they continued on April 1. As at the time the examination was suspended, I had 281,000 votes, as against Wike’s 79,000 votes. In this way, they (INEC authorities) rapidly acted the hero.

“We have composed a request on the discretionary extortion in Rivers State to the INEC administrator, expressing the genuine outcomes, however Professor Yakubu won’t make a move.

“I need Rivers individuals to be quiet. We will recover the stolen command. We ought not be harried and we ought to never decide on viciousness.

“I need Rivers individuals, particularly my overflowing supporters, who are being tormented by what they are seeing, to keep trust alive. Triumph is sure. We will bring back the stolen order,” Awara said.
