Women group under the auspices of Standup for Women Society (SWS), Bayelsa state chapter, yesterday paid a condolences visit to the Special Adviser to the Governor on Political matter’s Honorable Collins Cocodia.
Speaking at the event in his residents in Yenagoa, the State Chairman Liberator Eunice Nnachi who led the delegation. stated that, they came to condole with him over the mother’s death, late madam Anna Igbinidion .
According to her, we are sad that mama will be greatly missed by all, and we pray that God will give the family the gratitude to bear the lost.
In her condolence message she said, “We have received with great shock the news of the demise of your mother, Late Madam Anna Igbinidion, which occurred recently.
“On behalf of myself, the entire executives and members of the Standup for Women Society SWS, Bayelsa state, I wish to condole with you and you family on her transition.
“We are saddened that the Mama will be missed at this political moment of your life where her advisory role, her efforts and contributions will be needed.
“However, we glorify God for her services to mankind while she lived.
“May God accept her gentle soul into eternity and grant the entire family the comfort and fortitude to bear this great and irreparable loss.
“On behalf of the entire SWS Bayelsa, accept our heartfelt condolences.”
In response, Hon Collins Cocodia, tha group for coming to felicitate with him in this trying times, he further said this will give him strength and energy to move forward.
According to him, “we need to be strong ourselves and in prayer this time, very soon mama will be lay to mother earth when the date will be fixed, the stand up for women society is invited.”
The closing prayer was done by liberator Esther Osumeye the state secretary, Vice Chairman , Treasurer, PRO and members where all in attendance.
