Zubby Michael responds to critics questioning his silence on mourning Junior Pope

Popular actor Zubby Michael has finally addressed the criticism he’s received for not publicly mourning his late colleague, Junior Pope, who died in a boating accident.

Many celebrities in the film industry have taken to social media to express their condolences and share their grief, but Michael’s silence on the matter has drawn backlash and speculation about his relationship with Junior Pope.

Actress Angela Okorie previously accused Michael of harboring envy toward the late actor.

Amid the ongoing criticism, Zubby Michael has spoken out on social media, urging people to let the matter rest. He emphasized that mourning doesn’t necessarily require a public display on social media.

“Make Una rest. No be by posting,” he wrote, also sharing a video of himself organizing furniture for his home.

Here are some reactions from fans:

– **@mecedo24_kingsley**: “If you’ve spoken with JP’s family, at least let your fans know. You shouldn’t be feeling too hard, bro. Show some humanity.”

– **@starbest_rcn1**: “African Biggest Actor isn’t just a title.”

– **@jayneephar_11**: “Those who rush to post everything can be the most deceitful.”

– **@uzi.jnr10**: “Bro, you’re one of the greats in the industry and one of my favorites. But you definitely have a beef with that guy.”
