The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) contingent on this year’s Muslims Pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia, have joined pilgrims across the globe, to perform the mount Arafat prayers as enshrined in the doctrine of one of the pillars of Islam, Hajj.
The FCT contingent left Mina early and arrived at Mount Arafat to observe this very important rite of the pilgrimage.
Speaking to journalists, the chairman of the Ministerial Committee for the 2024 Hajj, Dr Abdullahi Isa Kaura Mata revealed that he has been closely monitoring the FCT contingent to ensure their welfare and well being.

He also enjoined the Pilgrims to pray for the security of the nation, which is void of forms of criminal activities such as terrorism and banditry.
The Chairman commended the National Hajj Commission for acting promptly on the inadequate provision of tents for the operation, which is being addressed by the Saudi Arabian authorities.
However, the Chairman said that the FCT contingent has continued to exhibit good conduct which is expected of good Ambassadors of Nigeria in the Holy Land.
Kaura Mata revealed that arrangements are on top gear to ensure a seamless movement of FCT pilgrims from Arafat to Mudzalifa by evening.
