Man United are looking to jump ahead of Chelsea in the race to sign Ugarte, who currently plays for Sporting, according to A Bola.

The Red Devils are said to be stepping up their efforts to land the midfielder.

Erik ten Hag’s side will have to battle the likes of Chelsea and Liverpool, who have also been linked with a potential move for the 22-year-old.
