Iyanya boast to be on same level with wizkid and Davido

Iyanya, also known as Iyanya Onoyom Mbuk, asserts his rightful place among the top echelon of afrobeats alongside Wizkid, Davido, and Olamide.

Agreeing with a fan’s tweet that highlights his achievements, stating, “When we mention the Old cats like Olamide, Davido and Wizkid, Iyanya should be mentioned too. He dropped two hit songs in 2011, ‘Kukere’ and ‘Your waist,’ and he has been consistent since then,” Iyanya acknowledges the sentiment and stands by his consistent musical contributions since his breakthrough hits in 2011.

Responding to another fan’s admiration for his global success, particularly with the song “Kukere,” Iyanya emphasizes that his songs gained immense popularity even before the internet became widespread. He asserts that his music was ubiquitous despite limited internet penetration, and he challenges others to compare their hit songs to his own.

Confidently, Iyanya declares, “Let’s compare our hit songs and see how many can match up.”
