In her own words, she exclaimed, “I said yes to Love, laughter, and happily ever after with my best friend. James exceeds everything I ever prayed for. God’s faithfulness amazes me daily. I am overjoyed to be starting this journey with the love of my life. Mr & Mrs. Loading.”

This is a girl who knows the meaning of bravery, having escaped from the horrors of Boko Haram’s den alongside 56 other brave souls. Picture the daring escape as they leaped from the very trucks that were carrying them to an unimaginable fate!

Following her awe-inspiring escape, Joy Bishara decided to pen a new chapter in her life in the land of freedom and opportunities – the United States. Here, she embarked on a remarkable journey and pursued her dreams, culminating in the achievement of a bachelor’s degree in social work from Southeastern University in 2021.
