The Acting Executive Secretary, Benue State Examinations Board, Mr Paul Ayolave, has lauded the Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal for upholding the victory of the Governor of Benue State, Rev Fr Hyacinth Alia, describing it as sound judgement.

The Helmsman of the board who gave this commendation in an exclusive interview with Day Break in Makurdi, stated that the tribunal’s judgement was a true reflection of the mandate that Benue electorate overwhelmingly gave the Governor at the polls.

“My reaction to the just concluded tribunal’s judgement is positive because the people of Benue actually voted for him. We the Progressives saw no need for the former Speaker, Titus Uba to go to court against Governor Alia because he knew very well that he was not voted.”

The Acting Executive Secretary, who described the victory as well deserved, enjoined the opposition People’s Democratic party (PDP) to join hands with Governor Alia for the development of Benue State where generations yet unborn would be proud of.

Mr Ayolave implored Benue people to support the Governor to enable him realize his vision of a greater Benue for the benefit of all and sundry, noting that Fr Alia is ready to welcome people with genuine ideas that would uplift the state to enviable heights.

“I feel Fr Alia has come to salvage the state, being a Man of God, I believe he won’t fail because God is the one guiding him, and we know that he must deliver. He is ready to welcome people with genuine ideas that will uplift Benue State. I advise that people who come to the Governor should come with good ideas that would move the state forward.

” I commend Governor of Benue State, Rev Fr Hyacinth Alia for bringing on board technocrats and well experienced people including myself to serve in his administration,” assuring that he would support the Governor to build the Benue of our dreams.
