“Political Sparks Fly: NNPP Fires Back at Ganduje, Labels Him ‘Serial Loser’ and Accuses Him of Betrayal

The New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) has responded to criticisms from Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, the National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC), by calling him a “serial loser” and accusing him of political betrayal. The NNPP’s Kano State Chairman, Hashimu Dungurawa, made these remarks during a press conference.

Dungurawa pointed out that if Ganduje were not a serial loser, he wouldn’t have lost his own polling unit during the 2023 general election. This statement was in response to Ganduje’s earlier criticism of his predecessor, Rabiu Kwankwaso, whom he described as a “serial loser” and a professional presidential election contestant.

Dungurawa further stated that Ganduje had won previous elections in the state with the support of Kwankwaso and that he couldn’t even secure a victory for his party and President Bola Tinubu in the recent elections.

He also mentioned Ganduje’s history of serving under Kwankwaso and receiving political support from him in various capacities. Dungurawa accused Ganduje of political betrayal for speaking ill of Kwankwaso, who had helped him throughout his political career.

In addition, Dungurawa questioned Ganduje’s ability to win elections on his own since 1999 and criticized his recent election performance, where he couldn’t even secure a win in his hometown and polling unit.

Dungurawa concluded by suggesting that Ganduje’s position as the National Chairman of the APC did not put him on the same level as Kwankwaso and predicted that the election results might be overturned at the Appeal Court.

This exchange of words reflects the political tensions and rivalries within Nigerian politics, with both sides using strong language to criticize each other’s records and abilities.
