Imo Catholic priest, Rev Fr Kingsley Eze, and another man, Uchenna Newman, were abducted by gunmen at Orieama junction in Isiala Mbano LGA on Thursday night. The priest and Newman, traveling in a Volvo jeep, were kidnapped after the gunmen robbed shop owners at the junction. Concerned parishioners and locals express fear over the incident, urging authorities to intervene. This marks the third kidnapping in the area within weeks, raising security concerns. The police spokesperson, Henry Okoye, is yet to comment on the situation.
