Mary Njoku Seeks Updates on Mohbad’s Case, Sparking Netizens’ Reactions

Nollywood actress Mary Remmy Njoku has once again stirred discussions on the late singer Mohbad’s case, questioning netizens about the current status of the investigation into his death.

Mohbad, a former signee of Naira Marley’s record label, tragically passed away at the age of 27 under unclear circumstances on September 12. Videos circulating after his death depicted him being mistreated by his former boss and colleagues. The Nigeria Police are still working to unravel the mystery surrounding his demise.

Taking to her Instagram page, Mary, known for her outspoken stance and advocacy for justice, inquired about any updates on the ongoing investigation. She sought clarity and closure, expressing the need for information regarding the case.

“Good morning. Who is awake? Any new update on JusticeforMohbad? Is the investigation still on? Just need some form of closure. That’s all,” Mary wrote.

Netizens shared various reactions, expressing their concerns and frustrations about the lack of updates and progress in Mohbad’s case. Some raised questions about the effectiveness of the justice system, while others lamented the perceived mishandling of the situation.

Mary had previously reassured followers in September that Mohbad’s case wouldn’t be swept under the rug. She addressed concerns about the country’s judicial system, emphasizing hope for justice and acknowledging the distressing impact of the singer’s death on her perception of human life in Nigeria.
