Comedian Seyi Law Mourns the Loss of Close Friend, Ending the Year on a Sad Note

Nigerian comedian Oluwaseyitan Aletile, popularly known as Seyi Law, faces a tough end to the year as he shares heartbreaking news of losing a childhood friend on his Instagram page. Despite the challenges he has encountered throughout the year, Seyi Law expresses deep sorrow over the passing of his friend.

In a heartfelt tribute, Seyi Law remembers the deceased fondly, highlighting her beautiful smile. He discloses that she was his friend’s girlfriend and later became his wife, with Seyi Law serving as the best man at their wedding. Overwhelmed by the loss, Seyi Law questions why she had to leave and prays for her soul to rest peacefully.

“This hurts me so badly, oh God!
We were all childhood friends.
You had one of the most beautiful smiles.
You became my friend’s girlfriend and wife.
I was the best man at your wedding.

Why did you have to go, my darling sister?
My Bussy baby!
You were the calmest amongst us.
You were such a beautiful soul.
We will forever miss your lovely smile.
Bussy baby, our gap tooth princess.

Rest in the bosom of the Lord.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh! God strengthen my friend and console the family.”

As the year comes to a close, Seyi Law joins others in the entertainment industry who have faced losses, including actress Chizzy Alichi Mbah mourning her father and the Yoruba film industry losing veteran Dejumo Lewis. The challenging year also saw the passing of various celebrities like Mohbad, Saint Obi, Iyabo Oko, Murphy Afolabi, Natty Bruce, among others.

In another distressing incident, Bidemi Kosoko, a Nigerian actress, faced a house fire that resulted in the loss of her property. Fellow celebrities rallied around her, expressing support during this difficult time.
