Kanayo Kanayo Commends Victor Osimhen for Stellar Performance in Super Eagles’ Victory

Nollywood actor Kanayo Kanayo has expressed admiration for footballer Victor Osimhen after the Super Eagles secured a triumphant win at the 2023 AFCON. The Super Eagles defeated Cameroon 2-0, advancing to the quarterfinals.

In response to the victory, Kanayo Kanayo praised Victor Osimhen, specifically commending him for contributing to the team’s success by scoring the second goal. Kanayo declared Osimhen the “Footballer of the Year” and acknowledged his exceptional qualities on the field.

Congratulating Nigerians on the achievement, Kanayo Kanayo emphasized the principle of “to whom much is given, much is expected.”

“Eheeennnn Victor Osimhen has shown the stuff a FOOTBALLER OF THE YEAR is made of. To whom much is given………. Congratulations Nigeria Football lives here,” Kanayo Kanayo remarked.

Other celebrities, including Adeniyi Johnson and Susan Peters, also reacted to the Super Eagles’ victory. Adeniyi Johnson humorously stated that he doesn’t tolerate losing matches, sarcastically claiming he would resign as Assistant Coach if the Super Eagles had lost. He predicted a 3-0 win against Anglo and playfully mocked Ghana.

Susan Peters playfully taunted Cameroonians, referring to them as Lions and questioning how they were faring. She urged Nigerians to flood her comment section with their identification details in celebration of the Super Eagles’ success.

In a recent expression of concern about the state of the Nollywood industry, Kanayo Kanayo emphasized that it shouldn’t become a platform for Brazilian Butt Life (BBL), sex workers, Instagram stars, and homosexuality. He called out social media influencers, who are gaining prominence in Nollywood, attributing them to the rising disrespect within the industry. Kanayo highlighted that their influence would be short-lived, fading away swiftly.

Addressing his roles in the industry, Kanayo shed light on playing characters that involve entering coffins. He clarified his approach, stating that he doesn’t sanctify himself or bind unseen forces when portraying such roles.
