The immediate past Governor of Benue State, Chief Samuel Ortom has expressed willingness to cooperate with the Commissions Of Enquiry set up by the Governor of the state, Rev Fr Hyacinth Alia, to probe his administration.
Ortom was reacting to the inauguration of the two Judicial Commissions Of Enquiry set up by his Successor, Rev Fr Hyacinth Alia to probe activities of his administration between 2015 and 2023.
Ortom who spoke through his Media Aide, Terver Akase, further emphasizes his willingness to cooperate with the aforementioned Commissions as long as the investigation is carried out in line with the law, stressing that his government was built on transparency, accountability and good governance.
The former Governor expressed readiness to provide the necessary information and clarifications to the panels as may be required.
Ortom Implored his former appointees to equally make themselves available whenever called upon to provide information or give clarifications.
