Real Madrid’s forward, Vinicius Jr., expressed his commitment to evolving his playing style to become “unstoppable” following a commanding 4-0 win over Celta Vigo on Sunday. The Brazilian contributed to the victory by opening the scoring, helping maintain a comfortable seven-point lead in La Liga.
Coach Carlo Ancelotti praised the 23-year-old, labeling him “the best” during an interview with Real Madrid TV, acknowledging Vinicius’ recent impressive performances in goals and assists.
Vinicius, speaking after the match, expressed his joy and shared his determination to perform at his best in the upcoming crucial moments of the season. Despite facing some setbacks due to injuries, he emphasized his commitment to supporting the team and highlighted efforts to adapt his game, particularly in one-on-one situations, making him “unstoppable.”
Confident in his abilities, Vinicius claimed that opponents struggle to defend against him, emphasizing the impact of playing at the Bernabeu and in front of the passionate Los Blancos fans.
Looking ahead to the remaining 10 matchdays and the Champions League quarter-finals, Vinicius acknowledged the challenges ahead and expressed a strong desire to achieve success, aiming for a repeat of the league and continental double achieved in the 2021/2022 season.
With a six-day break before their next match against Osasuna, Vinicius is optimistic about the team’s prospects. Additionally, he is set to represent Brazil in an anti-racism friendly against Spain at the Bernabeu, a significant match that may also mark the debut of Endrick, a player set to join Madrid from Palmeiras after turning 18 in July.
