Residents flee as fresh terror attacks occur in Kaduna village

By Achadu Gabriel, Kaduna
Again a community in Dgon-noma in Kujuru LGA of Kaduna state, has come under fresh terrorists attack with casualties levels yet to be ascertained from the fleeing residents.
The sad incidents which occurred early hours of saturday, came barely three days after one person was killed, and eight women were kidnapped in the Banono Angwaku community in same LGA.
Former council chairman of Kajuru LGA, Cafra Caino, who confirmed the saturday attack said the attackers invaded the village around 5.45am on Saturday in large numbers, shooting indiscriminately.
He however stated that they’re yet to get the number of casualties levels because the locals ran for their lives at the time the assailants invaded the community.
“The community had, some time in 2019, came under heavy attack where 74 people were killed and the community recently has been experiencing attacks.”
Kajuru and Chikun Local Government Areas had in recent weeks become the centre of storms and attacks by kidnapper, killing and kidnapping residents.
The Kaduna State Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Mansir Hassan, told reporter to send a text message because he was driving, but as of the time of filing this report, he was yet to responded. Details later.
