Multiple Videos of Cubana Chief Priest Abusing Naira Surface Following Arrest

By Daniel Edu

After the arrest of Pascal Okechukwu, widely known as Cubana Chief Priest, on Tuesday evening, several video clips have emerged on social media showing him mishandling the Nigerian Naira.

Cubana Chief Priest’s apprehension was reported by Naija News, stating that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) would arraign him over alleged Naira abuse.

Reports indicate that the anti-graft agency plans to charge Cubana Chief Priest with three counts of allegedly spraying and tampering with Naira notes at a social event, contravening the Central Bank Act of 2007.

The charges, filed on April 4 by the EFCC’s prosecutor, Rotimi Oyedepo (SAN), accuse Okechukwu Pasca of tampering with N500 notes during various social events, violating the Central Bank Act.

Following the news of his arrest, multiple videos depicting Cubana Chief Priest engaging in Naira abuse have circulated on social media platforms.

It’s worth noting that the EFCC recently secured the conviction of another public figure, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, on similar charges, resulting in a six-month prison sentence.

As Cubana Chief Priest’s legal proceedings unfold, these videos serve as further evidence in the ongoing investigation.
