By   Milcah  Tanimu

Janet Gimba, a judge at the Upper Customary Court in Kaduna State, has been released by her abductors. However, her three children remain in captivity as the kidnappers demand a ransom of N150 million. Gimba’s husband, Musa Gimba, confirmed her release and revealed the ongoing threat against their children’s lives.

Gimba and her children were abducted from their home in the Mahuta area of Chikun Local Government Area on June 24, 2024. The Kaduna State Police Command Spokesman, Mansir Hassan, reported that Gimba’s eldest son, Victor, was killed by the abductors. He assured the public that the police’s anti-kidnapping squad is collaborating with other security agencies to rescue the remaining victims and bring the perpetrators to justice.
