But 80 percent of the time, it’s your daily habits that’s causing your face to wrinkle. You might want to ditch certain habits before you end up looking like a grandfather at the age of 35.

1. Stressing always

If there’s any stressing element in your life, maybe, it’s time to de-stress. In other words, eliminate the stress factor in your life for good. Stressing unnecessarily will only cause negative side effects to your body. The toxicity of stress releases stress hormones within yourself, making you feel terribly tired and sad. It’s unhealthy and can make you age quicker.

2. Cigarettes

Smoking a cig one day or two is the reason why there’s an extra bag under your eyes. Your lips turn black, making it look ugly, for lack of a better word. You see, tobacco contains poisonous components that harms the cells in your body. It speeds up the skin-ageing process, resulting in the manifestation of Grandma-like wrinkles. Apart from that, it also hurts your gums, making your teeth look dull and yellow-ish in the process.

3. Drinking Excessive Alcohol

As much as you like drinking your stress away, we recommend that you don’t. Drinking copious amounts of alcohol will directly harm your liver which is known to filter off impurities. And when that process slows down, we don’t need to tell you what happens to your body, right? Drinking alcohol can add years to your face and trust us, you don’t want to look old when your look at yourself in the mirror first thing in the morning.

4. Experimenting With Diet

By the time you’re 25, you should be able to figure out what food your body is comfortable having. You cannot go from one diet to another diet as per your liking. It will only harm your body’s natural process. If you want your skin to look young and supple, you ought to include everything in your diet, including carbs. Just make sure that you balance it all out in proportions.

5. Sugar Is BAD

Sugar is the worst thing man has ever made. Sure, it will satiate your sweet cravings, but it will harm your body and how. Studies have proved that processed sugar weakens the immune system in the body, which slows down other bodily functions. Your undying love for sugar is only making you age faster. The choice is yours – sugar or younger looking skin?

6. Having Too Many Cups of Coffee

See, having two cups of black coffee is recommend if you want to lose weight. But having excess amount of coffee royally screws up the hormonal levels in your body, making you look less youthful and old. Unbelievable? Avoid coffee for two months or so, and you’ll see the difference.

7. Working The Desk Job

Have a 9-5 job in front of the laptop? Not only is it hurting your eyes, it’s harming your body indirectly. Take a 15-minute break, every now and then. Deadlines and office pressure can get to you really stressed, which is why you should not get stuck to your seat. If you’re not happy with your work, the ideal route would be to follow your passion. Remember, if you are happy, your heart will also be happy.

8. Sleep-Deprivation

If you’re one of those people who sleep late and wake up early, you’re bound to age faster. Without proper sleep, your brain does not function right. You’re always in a half-asleep, half-awake state of mind, ultimately, fastening the process of ageing. Your body responds to your insomniac behaviour by making you look sleep-deprived with baggy eyes and pigmented skin. Do you want to look like your grandfather?

9. Sunscreen? No, I Don’t Apply

One of the main reasons why people age faster is because they don’t put sunscreen on their skin. When the sun’s harmful UV rays affect your skin, it will obviously make it look dull and lacklustre. So get yourself a good sunscreen and slap it all over your body before you head out of your house. That is, only if you want skin that looks reinvigorated and glowy.

10. Lack of Exercise

The only way the blood circulation in your body is going to improve is by exercising. And the moment you get your heart pumping, your skin will eventually glow. The appearance of fine lines reduces drastically. It’s the secret weapon to having gorgeous looking skin.
