Nigerians Will Vote Tinubu in 2027 Despite Economic Hardship — APC Chieftain

By Milcah Tanimu

Abdulhakeem Adegoke Alawuje, a prominent member of the All Progressive Congress (APC), has expressed confidence that President Bola Tinubu will secure victory in the 2027 presidential elections despite the current economic challenges facing Nigeria.

In a statement released on Monday, Alawuje urged Nigerians to remain patient and supportive of President Tinubu, asserting that the nation’s present economic difficulties are temporary and will soon improve. He predicted that Tinubu’s leadership would garner increased support and lead to his re-election in 2027.

“Nigeria’s current pains are temporary, and with collective support and patience, the nation is on the path to a brighter future under President Tinubu’s leadership,” Alawuje stated.

He acknowledged that while some may be dissatisfied with Tinubu’s current leadership style, many would ultimately rally behind him for a second term. Alawuje emphasized the need for unity, urging Nigerians to view Tinubu as a friend of the nation and to resist being swayed by adversaries who might seek to undermine his presidency.

During a recent meeting in Kaduna, attended by APC leaders from all six geopolitical zones, Alawuje called for national unity, urging citizens to support the Tinubu administration beyond regional, religious, or ethnic identities. He stressed that the current challenges are national issues that should not be politicized.

Alawuje praised Tinubu for his efforts to reform outdated structures and implement new, effective policies. He encouraged Nigerians to trust in Tinubu’s vision and remain optimistic, believing that the benefits of his policies will soon become evident.

“The journey may not be easy, but we should have confidence in Tinubu’s focus and resolve to achieve his goals for the benefit of both current and future generations,” Alawuje concluded.
