Bayelsa SWAN congratulates Works Commissioner

In a show of solidarity, the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) Bayelsa chapter have paid a congratulatory visit to Moses Teibowei, the Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure,

The event which took place last Monday was Led by Chairperson Comrade Mrs. Timinepre Ohia, the team congratulated Teibowei on his reappointment by Governor Douye Diri and praised his commitment to ongoing state projects.

Mrs. Ohia highlighted Teibowei’s significant role in uniting SWAN before its recent elections and requested support for upcoming initiatives, including the SWAN Week.

The association also invited him to become a Patron, an honor he accepted, promising to assist the group as needed.

Teibowei commended SWAN for resolving internal conflicts and urged continued unity to achieve greater goals.

Present at the meeting was Mr. Johnson Dagana, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Works and Infrastructure and National President of the Super Eagles Supporters Club.

This visit follows previous outreach efforts to other stakeholders, including the Commissioner for Information and Orientation and the Director of Sports, further emphasizing SWAN’s commitment to fostering relationships within the sports community in Bayelsa.
