APRA Condemns Burkina Faso Terror Attack

…Warns of Growing Humanitarian Crises in Africa

The African Public Relations Association (APRA) has condemned the recent terror attack in Barsalogho, Burkina Faso, which resulted in numerous deaths and injuries. APRA expressed concern over the rising terror attacks across Africa and called for dialogue as a peaceful solution to conflicts. The organization also highlighted the ongoing humanitarian crises in Africa, including the monkeypox outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo, which has claimed over 500 lives, and severe flooding in Sudan caused by the collapse of the Arba’at Dam. APRA urged the World Health Organization to enhance its collaboration with the DRC to combat the mpox outbreak and reiterated the need for responsible communication and action among African leaders to address these challenges. APRA expressed solidarity with the affected countries and extended condolences to those impacted by these crises.
