Senator Lalong Congratulates Newly Elected Gamai Youths Movement National Executive Council, Urges Them to Champion Progress

Senator Simon Bako Lalong, representing Plateau South Senatorial District, has extended his congratulations to the newly elected National Executive Council of the Gamai Youth Movement (GYM) following their recent election and inauguration.

Lalong, a former National President of the Gamai Youth Movement, praised the peaceful and cooperative atmosphere in which the election was conducted, noting that it reflects the organization’s commitment to progress.

The Senator congratulated the new executives led by Dominic Saje Gani, encouraging them to unite the youths across Gamailand to drive socio-economic and political development in the area. He assured the new leadership of his full support and collaboration, urging them to identify and address the developmental challenges facing the youth by partnering with relevant stakeholders.

Lalong also pledged to continue attracting projects and programs to benefit Gamailand and the entire Senatorial District, as he did during his tenure as Governor of Plateau State and Minister of Labour and Employment.

Moreover, the Senator emphasized his commitment to leveraging his position in the Senate to create educational and economic opportunities for the youth of Gamailand, Plateau State, and Nigeria as a whole. He also highlighted the importance of maintaining peace and security in Gamailand as a foundation for sustainable development.
