Dan Amokachi, former Super Eagles player and newly appointed Technical Adviser for Lobi Stars Football Club, Makurdi, has officially taken up his position.
Addressing the players at McCarthy Stadium in Makurdi, Amokachi expressed his commitment to elevating the team’s performance, emphasizing his determination to help Lobi Stars achieve their goals and foster rapid development. He assured the players that he would lead the team forward with renewed energy.
Acknowledging the club’s current record of three losses, one draw, and one win, the new Technical Adviser expressed confidence that Lobi Stars would bounce back in upcoming matches. Amokachi emphasized that players’ welfare will be a top priority under his leadership, which he believes will enhance their performance on the field.
Amokachi praised the recent improvements in the Nigeria Premier Football League and expressed optimism about the continued growth of football in the country. The team has already begun intensive training in preparation for their weekend clash with Niger Tornadoes.
He also expressed gratitude to the Benue State Government and the Lobi Stars Board for the opportunity to contribute to the club’s success, vowing to steer the team in the right direction.
