The First Office of Edo State, Mrs. Edesili Okpebholo Anani, has called for Synergy with women politicians under Afemai Women in Politics ay the government House in Benin City.
The First Lady emphasized the need for oneness , harmony as a unifying factor regardless of their ethnic backgrounds, to achieve a common goal.
Mrs. Anani also stressed the factor of unity as a fundamental aspect of the Edo people’s identity, saying, ‘We Edos are one, and it doesn’t matter whether we are from the North, South, or Central; we are one body.”
She also praised Governor Monday Okpebholo as a team player who is committed to carrying everyone along, ensuring that no senatorial district is left behind during his tenure.
Mrs. Anani further emphasized the importance of creating a “Community of Sisterhood “, where women can support and and empower each other.
Leader of the delegation, Princess Awa Loveth Ewere, expressed her appreciation for the First Lady’s hard work and leadership, stating that Afemai Women in Politics is committed to supporting her office in advancing women’s empowerment in the State.
