A Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja has maintained the triumph of Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, in the March 9 governorship political election in the state.
The investigative court expelled the intrigue recorded by the crushed All Progressives Congress (APC) competitor, Emmanuel Jime, for absence of legitimacy.
The state governorship political race appeal council had likewise approved Ortom’s triumph in the political race.
A board of the investigative court drove by Justice Fred Oho on Thursday collectively held that Ortom was properly returned as Benue State representative during the political election.
The board settled all the issue in the intrigue against the appellants and rejected it for absence of legitimacy.
The court additionally granted a fine of N150,000 against the appellants.
