Gov Mutfwang Reaffirms Commitment to Business-Friendly Environment in Plateau

By Israel Adamu, Jos

Governor of Plateau State, Barrister Caleb Mutfwang, has reiterated his administration’s commitment to creating a business-friendly environment, with a pledge to make Plateau one of the most investor-attractive states in Nigeria.

The governor gave the assurance during the State Action on Business Enabling Reforms (SABER) technical session and statewide town hall meeting, held at the Banquet Hall of the Government House, Little Rayfield, Jos.

The event was part of a national engagement by the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC), which was established in July 2016 to spearhead reforms aimed at improving the ease of doing business across Nigeria.

Represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Samuel Jatau, Governor Mutfwang said that promoting the ease of doing business is now a top priority for his administration. He noted that Plateau has already begun implementing key reforms to enhance its business climate, attract investors, and stimulate economic development.

“We are committed to making Plateau State one of the most business-friendly environments in Nigeria,” Mutfwang said. “We welcome partnerships, investments, and counsel that will enhance the prosperity of our people.”

He expressed gratitude to Plateau citizens for their prayers, support, and constructive advice, which he said have been instrumental in guiding the administration’s developmental strides.
