VeryDarkMan Drops Fiery Diss Track Targeting Portable, Governor Okpabelo, and Prophet Fufeyin

Controversial online personality and social critic, VeryDarkMan, has released a diss track that takes aim at several public figures, including Edo State Governor Monday Okpabelo, street-pop singer Portable, and popular clergyman Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin.

The diss track, which dropped on July 23, 2025, has quickly gained traction online, sparking intense conversations on social media.

In one of the most talked-about lines, VeryDarkMan mocks Governor Okpabelo over his recently leaked WAEC results, sarcastically referencing his E8 grade:

“E8, WAEC result of a governor. INEC, shame on you.”

The activist also took swipes at singer Portable, reigniting their feud stemming from an alleged tricycle theft incident in which Portable was reportedly assaulted. He didn’t hold back in calling out the artist, using the diss track to throw more jabs at his credibility and behavior.

VeryDarkMan also targeted Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin, mocking his controversial “healing water” and other so-called miracle products. He had previously criticized the cleric for allegedly exploiting vulnerable followers through the sale of these items.

In response to those earlier criticisms, Prophet Fufeyin filed a ₦1 billion defamation lawsuit against VeryDarkMan, claiming the accusations were damaging to his reputation and had embarrassed his church members and business associates.

Social Media Reactions

The diss track has sparked a wave of reactions across platforms:

  • Sirlonto Sticks mused: “I just dey imagine say VDM come add music join this movement—how e go be????”
  • Ojumat commented: “I know say this song go loud as celebrity Verydarkblackman on it. Please feature me to take one verse. As Portable nor get shame, he fit seize this advantage to trend again.”

  • Cecilia Onyebuke concluded: “Aswear 😂😂🤣😹 my body dey sweet me like dis. Best music of the year!”

As reactions pour in, it’s clear that VeryDarkMan’s venture into music is being met with both laughter and controversy—just like his online persona.
